On behalf of the Organizing Committee, we would like to welcome you to Glyco XXIV, the 24th International Symposium on Glyconjugates that will take place from August 27th to September 1st, 2017 in Jeju, South Korea. It is a great pleasure to be hosting the Glyco XXIV in the wonderful Jeju Island, which was designated as Biosphere Reserve in 2002, World Natural Heritage in 2007 and Global Geoparks Network in 2010, earning 3 major UNESCO designations in natural sciences; two Ramsar-designated wetlands; one of the world's New 7 Wonders of Nature in 2012. We believe that the symposium will give a platform to broaden knowledge, exchange ideas and technologies on topics in glycoconjugates and glycans and serve as opportunities for networking among participants.
